We invite employees and students of the University of Opole to use the digital interlibrary loan service for books and scientific journals: ACADEMICA academica.edu.pl This project is carried out under the auspices of the Foundation for Polish Science by the National Library and the Scientific and Academic Computer Network.
• Access to several hundred thousand full-text scientific publications from the National Library in digital form
• Full-text search engine
• Unlimited access to non-copyrighted resources for every internet user
• Online reservation system for copyrighted publications for a selected date in the Main Library Reading Room (you must be a registered user of the Academica Lending Service!)
Users register at the Main Library Lending Room upon presentation of a valid library card. The librarian creates an account for the reader and provides a password (which can be changed later).
Publications can only be consulted in the Main Library Reading Room at the University of Opole, at a designated computer station.
Access to copyrighted publications can be reserved on the Academica lending library website for a selected date during the following hours:
Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Publications can be reserved for a selected date within 14 days of the reservation date. A maximum of 10 publications (5 per hour) can be reserved at a time, each for 3 days of your choice, for any number of hours within the library’s opening hours.
Copyrighted materials may only be accessed on the terminals of the institution where the user has registered. To access Academika’s collections at multiple institutions, separate registration is required for each institution.
Printing content displayed on terminals or storing it on external media is not permitted. Copies may be made by taking screenshots, using cameras, or other devices.
