The database focuses on\u00a0following areas of science:<strong>\u00a0mathematics, statistics, engineering, mathematical physics, biomathematics, operations research, computer science<\/strong>. Annually, 100,000 new records indexed by\u00a0Mathematics Subject Classification are added to\u00a0MathSciNet. The database is a\u00a0continuation of the printed publication Mathematical Reviews. Information on\u00a0MathSciNet is obtained from around 550 journals. It contains over 3 million records, out of which more than 1.7 million have a\u00a0direct link to\u00a0original articles.
