It contains information from over 2,474 social science journals of global importance. The database\u2019s resources comprise\u00a0 about 50 disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>After entering the Web of Science website, select advanced search and in the \u201c<strong>Editions<\/strong>\u201d drop-down menu, clear the \u201c<strong>All<\/strong>\u201d field and select the desired base, in\u00a0this case: Social Science Citation Index.<\/p>\n<p><a role=\"link\" href=\"http:\/\/mjl.clarivate.com\/\" data-original-size=\"16\">Master Journal List<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 lists of journals indexed in WoS databases.<br \/>\n<a role=\"link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myendnoteweb.com\/\" data-original-size=\"16\">EndNote Web<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 a tool available on the WoS platform.<br \/>\n<a role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/click.endnote.com\/\" data-original-size=\"16\">EndNote Click<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 a tool for quick access to full texts.<\/p>\n<p>The Social Science Citation Index is used for searching:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>bibliographies of scientific works by\u00a0individuals or\u00a0research teams,<\/li>\n<li>the content of professional journals,<\/li>\n<li>citations of scientific papers in\u00a0articles contained in\u00a0the database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Time scope of the collection: 1956-present (from 1996 on\u00a0ICM server)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vls.icm.edu.pl\/zasady\/2017\/WoS\/wyciag_wos2017_2019_pl.pdf\">Rules for using the license<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/clarivate.com\/webofsciencegroup\/support\/wos\/\">Video tutorials<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/webofscience.help.clarivate.com\/en-us\/Content\/home.htm\">Web of Science Help<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/clarivate.com\/webofsciencegroup\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/dlm_uploads\/2021\/12\/Web-of-Science_User-guide-for-researching-a-field-Nov-2021.pdf\">User Guide<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/clarivate.com\/webofsciencegroup\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/04\/2021_04-New-WoSCC-QRG.pdf\">Web of Science Core Collection.
