The terminology contained within it, along with the indexing principles adopted by the US National Library of Medicine (NLM), is used to develop content characteristics of documents entered into the Polska Bibliografia Lekarska (Polish Medical Bibliography) database.<\/p>\n<p>Tez-MeSH is the Polish version of the American\u00a0<strong>Medical Subject Headings (MeSH)<\/strong>, maintained at\u00a0the National Library of Medicine (NLM). Medical Subject Headings is the information and search language of the\u00a0<strong>MEDLARS\/Medline system<\/strong>, which is the best-known system used to\u00a0<strong>describe medical publications<\/strong>. The Tez-MeSH database contains\u00a0<strong>English and Polish terminology<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0the field of medicine and related sciences, as\u00a0well as\u00a0health care organization.<\/p>\n<p>The current version of the Tez-MeSH database was developed on\u00a0the basis of MeSH 2007. The translations of new source descriptors into Polish are performed by\u00a0employees with medical and biomedical education, using the latest dictionaries, lexicons, textbooks, monographs and medical publications. The terminology contained in\u00a0the Tez-MeSH database, along with the indexing rules adopted in\u00a0the NLM, is used to\u00a0prepare the\u00a0<strong>content description of documents entered into Polska Bibliografia Lekarska<\/strong>\u00a0[Polish Medical Bibliography] since 1979.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-30878","import","type-import","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/bg.uni.opole.pl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/import\/30878","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/bg.uni.opole.pl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/import"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/bg.uni.opole.pl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/import"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/bg.uni.opole.pl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=30878"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
