{"id":30981,"date":"2016-12-16T09:27:48","date_gmt":"2016-12-16T08:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bg.uni.opole.pl\/import\/art-humanities-citation-index\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T12:00:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T10:00:18","slug":"art-humanities-citation-index","status":"publish","type":"import","link":"https:\/\/bg.uni.opole.pl\/en\/art-humanities-citation-index\/","title":{"rendered":"Art &amp; Humanities Citation Index"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Art &amp; Humanities Citation Index is an abstract and bibliometric database &#8211;&nbsp; &#8220;citation index&#8221; &#8211; in the field of humanities and fine arts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After entering the Web of Science website, select advanced search and in the &#8220;<strong>Editions<\/strong>&#8221; drop-down menu, clear the &#8220;<strong>All<\/strong>&#8221; field and select the desired base, in this case: Arts &amp; Humanities Citation Index.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mjl.clarivate.com\/\">Master Journal List<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 lists of journals indexed in WoS databases.<br><a href=\"http:\/\/www.myendnoteweb.com\/\">EndNote Web<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 a tool available on the WoS platform.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/click.endnote.com\/\">EndNote Click<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 a tool for quick access to full texts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It encompasses more than 25 disciplines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>art,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>architecture,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>history,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>archeology,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>literary studies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>linguistics,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>folklore,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>philosophy,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>religions,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>theatre,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>movie,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>radio\/tv.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>musicology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The collected data comes from over 1,300 of the world&#8217;s most important journals in the field of humanities: articles, introductory columns, reviews, notes, letters, etc. In addition, the database contains articles on humanities, published in <strong>over 7,000 interdisciplinary journals<\/strong>. 100,000 new bibliographic descriptions are added to the database annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The database is used for searching bibliographies of scientific works and the content of professional journals.
