Science Citation Index Expanded – SCI-EXPANDED – is an abstract and bibliometric database – citation index – in the field of exact sciences. It contains information from over 6,650 science and engineering journals of global importance. The SCI-EXPANDED concerns about 150 disciplines.
After entering the Web of Science website, in the “Editions” drop-down menu, clear the “All” field and select the desired base, in this case: Science Citation Index Expanded SCI-Ex.
The database is used for searching:
- bibliographies of scientific works written by individuals or research teams,
- the content of professional journals,
- citations of scientific works in the articles contained in the database.
Time scope of data: 1945-present (from 1996 on ICM server)
